About us

Every person wants to be happy.

But happiness is not at all obvious for many people.

Because life is by no means always easy.

And then it's nice to get a boost.

For a short or longer period of time.

We give those nudges.

With all our hearts. Every day.

We are Welzijn Lelystad.

And our motto is: Long live you.

This is us

We are here for you. Who we are? This short video will give you an idea of that.

The Supervisory Board consists of five members appointed for a period of four years. After that period, members can be reappointed one more time. The Supervisory Board strives to contribute to the realisation of the objectives. The council sees to it that Welzijn Lelystad makes the right future-proof choices, within the financial frameworks. Supervisory Board vision

Impact of our work

We see that welfare work makes an important contribution to residents' well-being and happiness. Think less need for professional care, more social contacts or a better balance for informal carers who can care for their partner for longer. We want to better substantiate the effects of welfare work. Not only for accountability towards our clients, but especially because we want to keep learning and developing. With the social impact meter, we are taking a first step in this direction.

Board reports

In our board reports, we look back on the past year. We understand that you don't always have time to read everything. That is why we have made it clear: in the table of contents you can immediately see which topics are covered.

So you can quickly get to the page that interests you. Finished reading? Then simply scroll back to the overview.
