The Botter

About this community centre

Do you live in the Botter area? Then the new De Botter community centre is the place to be for socialising, activities and support. You can pop in for a cup of coffee, a creative workshop or a good chat. The community centre is situated in the heart of De Botter, right next to the shopping centre, and forms part of the modern and sustainable multi-purpose complex De Botter. The building also houses De Schakel primary school, Villa Kakelbont nursery, the after-school care centre, a sports hall and a health clinic.

Neighbourhood room

The community room is also a nice place to meet others, do something together or just be for a while. There are activities you can take part in, but many people also bring their own things. A puzzle, a puzzle book or a piece of knitting, for example. And did you know you can also have lunch here for a small amount? Cosy and affordable.

Youth Local

Besides Atolplaza and the girls' room in the Zuiderzee neighbourhood, there is now also a youth room in De Botter. Young people from the neighbourhood have their own place here to get together, relax and help think about activities in the neighbourhood.
