In the middle of Lelystad Haven, you will find Wijkcentrum De Windhoek. A cosy and central meeting place in a special part of town. Did you know that Lelystad was built from here? So De Windhoek is literally at the heart of the oldest part of Lelystad.

Whether you come for a chat, an activity or to set something up yourself: you are always welcome. There is plenty to do and the team is ready to welcome you, think with you or help you on your way with your idea for the neighbourhood.

Neighbourhood room

The community room in The Windhoek is also a nice place to meet others, do something together or just be for a while. You can join existing activities or bring your own stuff . A puzzle, a piece of knitting, whatever you like. The atmosphere is relaxed and you are welcome just as you are.
