Who is Welzijn Lelystad Foundation?

SWL processes personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter AVG) and other privacy laws and regulations. This privacy statement provides information on how we handle your privacy.

Applicability

This privacy statement applies to the processing of (personal) data provided to us by residents and other contact persons when applying for and using our services, when you request information, make a contact request or otherwise contact us.

We process personal data in the context of supporting youth and care and welfare of the residents of Lelystad municipality in order to provide them with the fullest possible assistance. SWL does this on behalf of Lelystad municipality.

What personal data does SWL process?

Lelystad municipality has a statutory duty to meet assistance needs and assist residents. SWL carries out much of this work on behalf of Lelystad municipality, both in understanding the resident's need for help and preventing (further) care.

SWL collects contact data such as name, address, place of residence, telephone number and e-mail address. SWL may also collect data on behalf of Lelystad municipality in connection with a resident's request for help or assistance. Lelystad municipality has a legal basis to process your personal data for these purposes, for example on the basis of the Social Support Act 2015, the Youth Act, the Participation Act or the Integration Act.

Image material

SWL regularly organises activities for the citizens of Lelystad and we consider it essential to show in our publicity that we are there for residents. Photography of individuals is an important part of this.

For (small) events or activities where registrations or applications are required and run through SWL, it will be made known at the time of registration or application that photographs may be taken and your permission to take and publish visual material will be requested.

If visual material, such as photos, is taken and published from SWL at a public (without registrations through SWL) or closed event (but with large numbers of participants), visitors are informed about it in advance or on the spot. In doing so, it will be made clear what visual material may be used for and how to object.

Camera surveillance

In the community centres De Dukdalf, Hanzeborg and Zuiderzee, camera surveillance is used as a tool to secure people and property. The use of cameras is one of the tools to ensure the social and physical safety of staff, volunteers and visitors at these locations.

In the 'Your rights' section, you can read how to object or request deletion in relation to your personal data (and therefore also visual material).
